You are always required to provide us with the following information: program name, dates, names and nationalities of participants, contact email and phone number, flight schedule and information on dietary requirements. If some additional information is needed, we will contact you on that.
We will handle the bookings ASAP, typically within 24 hours, and contact you for confirmation. Remember, that due to the nature of the business though, there might occur periods when all of us are beyond the reach of the network operators of conventional communication, so if that should be the case we kindly ask you for some patience.
Terms and conditions
The following payment and cancellation conditions apply to all of Wild Hikes Finland tours.
We do not charge reservation fee, but we require flight information of purchased flights from all the passengers.
The full tour price is due at the ending date of the tour.
Note! A 4 % handling fee will be charged with payments through PayPal.
The passenger may cancel the tour without special reason as follows:
No later than 28 days prior to departure by paying the service fee 50 €.
Later than 28 days but no later than 14 days prior to departure by paying the service fee 100 €.
Later than 14 days but no later than 48 hours prior to departure by paying 50 % of the price of the tour.
If the tour is cancelled later than 48 hours prior to departure, the tour operator has the right to charge the full price of the tour.
Passenger’s right to cancel the tour because of a force majeure:
A passenger has the right to cancel the tour with no extra charge because of a force majeure. However, Wild Hike Finland applies to these tours the law for package tours (15 § 2 mom.) which gives a tour operator the right to charge a reasonable compensation for necessary costs caused by the cancellation (like pre-paid accommodations, safaris etc.). Any refund the tour operator possibly gets from the companies, as well as the own profit, will be refunded to the passenger.
Please check the booking confirmation carefully and inform the tour operator immediately of any mistakes (dates etc.). If the tour operator is not informed, the passenger will be considered responsible for the mistake.
It is essential and highly recommended, in certain programs a prerequisite, that a passenger is covered by an adequate travel insurance.
Wild Hikes Finland is not in a position to offer a passenger any assistance in the event of delay at the outward or homeward point of departure. The airline concerned will be responsible for a passenger in the event of flight cancellation or delays.
Apart from what is stated here, Wild Hikes Finland will always follow good business practices and the terms and conditions as stated in the general terms for package tours as negotiated between the association of Finnish travel agents and consumer ombudsman on 30.6.2009. Should there be such a disagreement between Wild Hikes Finland and a customer that no other agreement cannot be reached with any other means, the matter will always be settled in the Finnish court.
